I had a shock at work yesterday. I got a call from the HR manager, who wanted to see how my job search was going. He said that even though my resignation was effective Aug 4, he said my managers were complaining about me. He told me to be prepared to leave this week, probably Thursday.

Then I come back to my desk, and my supervisor asks me to come into her office. She asked me to clean up my desk then and there.

So I’m done with City of Despair. Take this job and shove it!

I have 2, possibly 3 interviews today, so I’m not too worried about finding something else. And we might take a quick trip up to Utah this weekend.
